Dear Prospective Coaches,
My name is Caden Struth and I am a senior high school student at Ernest Manning High School in Calgary, Alberta. I am writing to express my interest in becoming a part of a University football program and to introduce myself as a prospective student-athlete.
Currently I have the privilege of representing Ernest Manning High School on the football field as a left tackle on the offensive line. I take great pride in the accomplishments and experiences I have gained as an Ernest Manning Griffin. Most notably, back-to-back CSHSAA Calgary High School Football championships, a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and training instilled by our program. I also was part of the 2023 Calgary Wildcats football team that won the Calgary Spring League football championship.
In addition to my high school achievements, I am honored to have been selected as a two-time Team Alberta football player in 2022 and 2023. These experiences have allowed me to compete at a higher level, develop my skills, and showcase my commitment to the sport.
As I embark on the next phase of my educational and athletic journey, my plan is to enroll in the Faculty of Engineering at a university in Canada or USA. This choice perfectly aligns with my goals and aspirations, as it offers a combination of academic excellence, technology, and a competitive football program. I also recognize the challenge of balancing enrollment in an engineering faculty with university-level athletics. I wish to learn more about how these programs can integrate and be supported at the university level.
